I was planning on sharing my thoughts on Aaron Sorkin's new series, The Newsroom, tonight.

I then realized that Warren Ellis more or less beat me to it.

I more or less agree with his take, except that I feel I'm more willing to watch, despite knowing the show's flaws. At the end of the day, he's still Aaron Sorkin and he's still a fucking genius writer, if occasionally somewhat transparent, and I still have lots to learn.

Plus, there's Alison Pill who, in an ideal world, was always my first choice for Moira Celebrity Casting.
